Our collections : a story of passion

Rural land, where the countryside cultivated with passion by thousands of farmers has kept a wild side, the beauty of the Gers owes in part to the golden colors of the wheat fields, the sparkling yellow of the expanses of sunflowers and rapeseed, to the green lines of vines and corn fields. Every season, is west, from north to south, the Gers offers you new colors.

Paying tribute to the work of the land by revealing the daily life of the peasants of the first half of the 20th century, the Musée du Paysan Gascon, offers you on nearly 2 hectares, of which more than 800 m2 covered, a very rich collection of machines, agricultural tools and old trades.

Nearly 5,000 objects, gleaned over the years thanks to the generosity of donors, plunge us into the life of yesteryear

From rustic tools to the most refined, from field work to domestic life, the museum also presents some unusual curiosities and objects.

Not to mention some curiosities like a frog crossbow, a bike with wooden wheels and many other surprises!
